Delete your Garage account
This page explains how to delete your account and its data in
Garage (the household vehicle-upkeep app by garage.hrva.cc),
as available on Google Play and at garage.hrva.cc.
Delete your account in the app (immediate)
- Open Garage and sign in.
- Go to More → Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.
Or request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email
garage@hrva.cc from the email address of
your account and ask for deletion. We will confirm and delete the account.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
You can delete parts of your data in Garage at any time, keeping your
account:
- Delete individual entries — a fill-up, a
service record, a drive, a
document, a note about a noise — from
their lists. Any photo attached to one goes with it.
- Delete a whole vehicle, which removes its entire fuel and
maintenance history.
- Remove an optional vehicle photo by editing the vehicle.
- Leave a garage from More → Garage to disconnect
from its shared data.
These deletions take effect immediately. You can also email
garage@hrva.cc to request deletion of
specific data.
What is deleted
- Your account (email address and display name) — deleted immediately.
- Your garage membership — removed immediately.
- If you are the last member of a garage, that
garage's vehicles and their entire history — fuel, servicing, trips,
documents, and the noises anyone noted down — are deleted along with it.
- If other members remain in the garage, the garage's
shared vehicle data stays with them — it belongs to the garage, not to a
single account.
Retention
Deletion is immediate; no additional copies are kept beyond standard
short-lived database backups, which expire automatically. There is no extra
retention period.
Before deleting, you can export all your data as CSV from
More → Your data → Export as spreadsheets. For full details, see the
privacy policy.
